I am Sheri Taiwo, a freelance makeup artist, braider, and the founder of Doopsi Lashes, based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. My journey into the world of beauty began at a young age, driven by a deep love for the arts.
As a child, I would paint, braid, and draw, with a particular fondness for creating portraits. My braiding skills started developing at the age of 6, setting the stage for my future in the beauty industry.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a major in Physiology, I continued honing my makeup application skills. Around 2014, I felt confident enough to offer makeup services professionally.
My love for beautifying others stems from a deep-seated passion for helping people feel confident and empowered. I believe that beauty is not just about the outward appearance but also about how it makes you feel inside. Each person is unique, and I am dedicated to understanding their individual preferences, style, and personality.
By curating a personalized experience for each client, I aim to enhance their natural beauty and leave them feeling more confident and beautiful than when they first walked in. Seeing the joy and confidence that my work brings to others is incredibly rewarding and fuels my passion for beautifying.
